Simulations of observations and data of MAXI

We have developed a computer program to simulate
observations and data of MAXI. 
Our basic aims are to characterize
the performance of the instruments and
to provide data input for the 
development of data analysis tools.
We present the preliminary results of the simulations,
and discuss the implications for future MAXI observations.
